Dana Janssen

Dana Jean Janssen, age 48, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away on June 16th, 2025. Born on August 27th, 1976, to the late Daniel and Jeanne Janssen, Dana was a loving mother, devoted partner, and cherished friend to many.

Dana is survived by her beloved sons, Caleb Lau and Collin Lau (and his significant other, Bella); her significant other, Josh Linn; and her three adored dogs, Klaus, Skye, and Chase, as well as her cat, Preston. She is further survived by her sister, Jennifer (Shawn) Anderson; brother, Jacob Janssen; and her nephew and niece, Cole (Ally) Anderson and Jordan (Caden) Damp, along with their children, Maisie, Quentin, Willow, and Stella. Additionally, she is survived by her grandmother, Betty Winget; many aunts and uncles, including Ginger Winget, Sherri (Brad) Beecroft, Katie (John) Selz, Gerald Janssen, Roy (Toni) Janssen, and Gary (Georgia) Janssen; special cousins Jodi Janssen and Joye (John) Mooney; as well as her dear friends Cindy Zwiefelhofer, Angie Will, and Stacy Spielman; and step-son Steven Mayer. She is also lovingly remembered by many other relatives and friends.

Dana was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, Harold and Jean Janssen, and Ralph Winget.

A certified veterinary technician for over 30 years, Dana dedicated her life to caring for animals and had an extraordinary passion for her profession. She possessed a genuine love and empathy for all living beings. As a child, Dana participated in numerous horse shows, showcasing her love for animals and the outdoors. She found joy in spending time outside with her dogs and tending to her impressive flower garden.

Dana was truly a ray of light in the lives of everyone who knew her, and above all, her sons were her greatest pride and joy. She will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of Dana's life will be held at a later date.
