In Loving Memory of Chris "Bushy" Busch
Chris "Bushy" Busch, 56, passed away on July 6, 2026.
Born on April 16, 1970, Chris was the son of Ron (Mary) Busch and Jaci Johnson. Throughout his life, Chris was known for his hardworking spirit, loyal friendships, quick wit, and love for the outdoors.
On June 23, 2017, Chris married the love of his life, Jamie Bowe. Together they shared countless adventures hiking and kayaking with their dogs, making memories that will forever be treasured. Whether they were exploring a new trail or simply enjoying each other's company at home, Chris found his greatest happiness beside Jamie.
Chris built a career as a skilled concrete finisher, taking great pride in his work with Rices and Sons, Market & Johnson, and most recently, Miron Construction. He was respected for his strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and dedication to every project he took on.
When he wasn't working, Chris embraced life to the fullest. He loved golfing with friends, tackling countless woodworking projects, firing up the grill for family and friends, and enjoying a few "Busch Lattes." Some of his favorite moments were spent fishing with his best friend, Smitty, or relaxing in his favorite chair with his faithful dog, Charlie Bear.
Above all else, Chris cherished the people in his life. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving family man, dependable friend, and someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His laughter, generous heart, and unforgettable personality touched everyone who knew him.
Chris survived by his wife, Jamie Busch; his stepchildren, Jacob Bowe, Jade Bowe, and Josh Bowe; his step-granddaughter, Jordyn Bowe; his parents, Ron (Mary) Busch and Jaci Johnson; his siblings, RJ (Katie) Busch, Lynelle Moseley, Kenn Busch (Jenny Green), and Nick Reed; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were made brighter by knowing him.
Though Chris's passing leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy lives on through the love he shared, the friendships he built, and the memories that will continue to bring smiles for years to come.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
