Charles Brian Brulz, age 68, of Thorp, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Aspirus Hospital in Stanley.
Chuck was born to Donald and Joyce Brulz in Milwaukee, WI on October 6, 1956. He was the oldest of 7 Brulz children and graduated from South Milwaukee High School in 1974. There he was a standout athlete in football and enjoyed many sports. After graduating, he attended UW-Lacrosse for a short period of time then began working at Ladish manufacturing in 1977. There he met the love of his life Christine Weinstein to which he married in 1979 and spent the next 46 years of their lives together. Chuck and Christine then had two Children, Rebecca and Brian. Throughout their time in Milwaukee, Chuck had also worked as a carpenter. In 1985, the Brulz family moved to Thorp where he worked at a cheese factory and for an agricultural company spraying fields until he found a home working for Waste Management for the next 22 years. He retired early in 2015 to focus on his hobbies and his family.
Chuck was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to hunt and fish. His love for the two sports was passed down through his family. He knew it was important to teach to love and respect the sports. He loved to spend a lot of time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He has left them with many memories and stories to tell. Chuck was always quick with a joke and would talk to anyone as if they were an old friend. Traditions were something that Chuck held dear to him and will continue to live on.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Christine Brulz; his children Rebecca (Matt) Serafin and Brian (Jinger) Brulz; grandchildren Benjamin, Gwen, Meghan, Calvin, Isabelle, Henry and Hazel; many siblings, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws; his brother John and nephew Max.
