Carol Swartz

Carol Ann Swartz (nee Fortmeyer), age 86 of Eau Claire, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2025 with family by her side at Cambridge Senior Living in Rice Lake. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 47 years Noel Swartz, sons Terry Manor and Ken Swartz and siblings Ardella Dehne and George Fortmeyer.

She is survived by 4 sons: Mike Manor, Scott Manor and Jeff Manor and Kevin Swartz; 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; 2 siblings Ronald Fortmeyer and Robert Fortmeyer.

Carol was born in Almena, WI to the late George and Emma Fortmeyer on February 13, 1939 and attended schools in Almena and Barron.

She thoroughly enjoyed spending all aspects with family. She loved camping, golfing and dancing. Grandkids were always her and Noel's focus, as they spent many weekends camping.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Saving Grace Lutheran Church, 3735 Jeffers Rd, Eau Claire with Pastor Dan Doran officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery, Cleghorn.
