Carol L. Schick, age 62 of Chippewa Falls, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, February 13, 2026.
Carol was born on December 10, 1963 in Bloomer to DeWayne and Darlene Stolt (Lagesse). She grew up in Bloomer through her youth years. In August of 1983, she married Randall L. Schick, they would later divorce but remained great friends. She had 4 children and was a homemaker most of her life.
Carol was an Army wife and spent time moving for Randall's army career. She enjoyed seeing new places and experiencing the life as an army wife, including volunteering as leader of the Family Readiness Group for the 652nd Engineer Company for many years.
She briefly moved back to Bloomer where they continued to raise their four children. They later bought a house in Chippewa Falls and settled in that area where she worked for Tender Care Transport and later Shared Ride Taxi. Carol enjoyed these jobs and getting to know her passengers.
Later in life, she welcomed 13 grandchildren who she enjoyed and loved with all her heart. She then became a great-grandma of 10. Her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was extraordinary.
Carol was always there for people when they needed an ear to listen and was quick to give a very opinionated advice. She enjoyed having her diet coke while watching her favorite t.v. shows and movies.
She was very loved and will forever be missed.
Carol is survived by her great friend Randall Schick; children: Barbara Schick of Eau Claire, Heidi (Jon) Harrison of Cornell, Trenton Schick and Nicole Schick of Chippewa Falls; siblings Mary (Doug) Gervais of Bloomer and Roger (Kim) Stolt of Albert Lea, MN; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents DeWayne and Darlene Stolt, and siblings: Susie, Loren O., Kerry, Wayne, Billy and Gary Stolt.
A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 p.m. (noon) - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Eagle Point Town Hall, 14802 WI HWY 124, Chippewa Falls.
