Betty Lorraine (Brensdal) Enersen, age 97, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away on September 30, 2025. She was born in 1928, in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Enersen; daughter, Carol Marie Enersen; son, Carl Enersen; her parents, Anton and Vernice (Owen) Brensdal; three sisters, Alma Jeatran, June Ponto, Florence "Flossy" Krueger; and many other cherished family members and friends that she is now lovingly reunited with in Heaven.
Betty is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Dale Enersen (Marla), David Enersen (Kathy); one daughter, Susan Vanderhyden; ten grandchildren and their spouses; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members, caregivers and friends who will miss her greatly.
She found her greatest joy in the company of family and friends, cherishing every shared moment, laugh, and story. Her sense of humor was a gift and her laughter was generous. She loved her family deeply and was endlessly proud of each one of them-her love was the kind that made you feel truly seen and supported. Her strong faith and love for Jesus were at the heart of who she was, shining brightly in her unshakable optimism and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. Her life was a reflection of grace, compassion, and unwavering love.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1804 Highland Ave., Eau Claire with Pastor Sandee Kosmo officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Menomonie.
