Barbara Giffin

Barbara Diane Giffin (Clarin), aged 57, of Elmwood WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 25th 2025. Barbara was born in Forest Lake Minnesota on October 16th, 1968. Barbara met Chris Alan Baker, never married, but they went on to have two beautiful children. She worked as a waitress for much of her life, at Dennys, and then later in life at the Yellowstone River Inn, in Glendive MT. She made many memories with those she worked with throughout the years. Barbara had the biggest heart of gold, extremely passionate about her family. She lived her life with bravery and compassion. Barbara had a profound love for her family and is survived by her beloved children, Christopher Baker (Amy) of East Bethel MN, and Amber Baker (Davin) of Glendive MT. Her grandchildren Elijah, Alexis, and Oliver Baker of East Bethel MN and Haiden and Annabelle Nordling of Glendive MT. Her siblings Carolyn, Leanord, Tina, Destiny, and Billy, along with many nieces and nephews. Barbara is proceeded in death by bot of her parents, Kermit Harlen Clarin, and Marsha Diane Jorgensen. Barbara really enjoyed spending time with her children and family as well as crafting and photography. She cherished small talk with her siblings She touched the heart of anyone who was lucky enough to have known her.

The family wishes to thank Adoray Hospice, All of the staff at Western Wisconsin Health Clinic, The Chemo team, The Cremation Society of Wisconsin (Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel. The Iris Program, and finally her caregiver Crystal Pennington for her dedicated heart and soul.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, from 2pm to 7pm. It will be a In Home memorial; the family wishes to be contacted for address.
