Anthony Squillace

August 7, 1934 — October 11, 2021

We regretfully announce our beloved Father, Anthony Robert, “Bob” Squillace, age 87, died from cancer on October 11th, 2021.

Bob was born on August 7th, 1934, to Nick and Anna Squillace in St. Paul, Minnesota. Bob was raised in St. Paul, where he attended St. Thomas Academy and the University of St. Thomas. After graduating, Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army. He played saxophone and clarinet in the Army band overseas. When he returned home, he married the love of his life, Jane. In addition to his passion for music, he was an avid reader; he loved camping, fishing, and gardening. He enjoyed meeting new people and made friends easily throughout his life.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Jane, his parents Nick and Anna, Brother Nick, sister-in-law Doris, sisters Mary and Camille, and many friends and relatives.

Bob is survived and loved by his:
Children (6), Dawn, Michael, Rita (Paul), Zimmerman, Robert (Lisa), Laurie (Tom), Morton, and Daniel.
Grandchildren (15): Katlin, Skylar, Nick, Nichole (Kevin), Bunnell, Ashley (Curt), Doornick, Ariel (Sam), Hughes, Anna, Jordon (Beatris), Zimmerman, Willow, Isaiah, Seon Dittman, Téa, Noah, Taylor, and Tiegann.
Great-grandchildren (12) Bunnell: Dominic, Joshua, Evelyn, Kevin, “Trae”, Isabelle. Doornick: Christopher, Patrick, Benjamin, Jacob. Hughes: Peter, Andrew, Clara Jane
