Mara A. Hanson - Funeral Director

Mara was born in Rochester, Minnesota. She graduated from Mayo High School in 2004. She knew in high school that she wanted to pursue a career in funeral service. She attended the University of Minnesota where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science. While she was a student, she worked as a night attendant for Gearty-Delmore in Plymouth, MN. After graduation, Mara completed her internship at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, MN in order to obtain her Minnesota mortician's license. In March 2010, she was hired by Stokes, Prock & Mundt, and the Cremation Society of Wisconsin, and is now a licensed funeral director in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Mara enjoys reading, camping and photography. She also loves music, and attends as many concerts as she can.
