The Cremation Society of Wisconsin provides you with the option of pre-paying the $1,395.00 cremation cost, and gives you a lifetime guarantee that this is all you will ever pay for the simple cremation. You may choose to have your funds placed in one of two options; a funeral trust or a life insurance policy.

We will place the funds in a trust account in a federally insured bank.  The account is between the Society and yourself.  In accordance with Wisconsin law, this money is considered your asset and you will receive a 1099 interest statement by January 31st of each year.  If you file income taxes you will be required to pay the tax on the interest earned.  At the time of death, the Society retains the principle plus interest in consideration for your lifetime guarantee.

We will place your funds in a life insurance policy.  With this option, you will not receive a 1099 interest statement.  At the time of death, the Society will be the beneficiary of all funds in consideration for your lifetime guarantee.
